Why pick outdoor fireplaces & fire pits

Stretch the Patio Season

The Lanai 48 See-Through Fireplace, available at The Fireplace Corner in Duluth, MN

Northern Minnesota summers are short. An outdoor fireplace or fire pit lengthens them — pulling the season open in spring, keeping it open in fall, and turning the patio into something you actually use after Labor Day.

We install gas fire pits, gas patio fireplaces, and (occasionally) custom outdoor wood-burning fireplaces for the right project. Most of our outdoor work runs to natural gas or LP — clean, controlled, and easy to light when the temperature drops.

Outdoor projects are different from indoor — different code, different ventilation considerations, different finish materials. We've done enough of them to know what works in the climate, and we'll talk you through the trade-offs before we touch a permit.
